Plastic Filter Housings

The SPH Series offer a wide selection of plastic filter housings for low flow rate and low pressure applications. The plastic filter housing series feature heavy-duty designs with opaque and clear sumps, high purity housings constructed of virgin polypropylene and high temperature housings made of thermoplastic materials.

Housing Types and Features

HD Heavy Duty Housings

  • Rugged construction for commercial and industrial environments
  • Available in 5", 10" and 20" DOE versions
  • Constructed of polypropylene head with either opaque or clear sump
  • Full Flow (BB) series housings in 10" & 20"

HP High Purity Housings

  • Constructed of 100% virgin polypropylene
  • Accommodates DOE (10" or 20"), 222/fin (12") and 222/flat end (20") cartridges
  • VPH Housings meet FDA requirements.
  • All housings come with Viton gaskets

HT High Temperature Housings

  • Tolerates temperatures of 200°F and pressures to 200  psid
  • Available in 10 and 20 inch DOE versions

 

    

Features

  • All plastic construction is a cost effective alternative to metal housings
  • 3/4" inch NPT Inlet/Outlet connections
  • Housings are rated for temperatures of 125°F (52°C) and pressures to 125 psid (8.75 bar)
  • High Temperature (HT) housings are rated for temperatures of 200°F (93°C) and pressures to 200 psid (13.8 bar)
  • Available with EPDM and optional silicone O-rings (Viton for virgin polypropylene housings)
  • Mounting brackets are available
  • Suited for low flow applications up to 7­14 gpm
  • Meets FDA requirements for potable water, food and beverage filter applications
