EXTENDED LIFE LIQUID FILTER BAGS

KIMBERLY-CLARK FATHOM BAG MATERIALS

From the top down, FATHOMTM Liquid Bag Media is engineered to provide exceptional filtration performance. This unique fiber structure provides the power in FATHOM Media. Thermal bonding of the continuous fibers used to create FATHOM Media also prevents fiber shedding that can be encountered with some other media.

Its patented nonwoven structure is designed with an upstream pre-filter zone for high particle loading capacity and, for enhanced performance, a downstream efficiency zone to deliver the right efficiency for you application.

But the difference goes deeper: With a gradient density fiber structure, FATHOM Liquid Bag Media provides premium depth filtration, trapping a wide range of particles for cleaner fluid streams. Chemically compatible with most liquid applications, FATHOM Liquid Bag Media contains no binders which could interfere with fluid chemistry.©

PRESSURE DROP DATA

The graph shows the DP produced by a #2 size bag for water, 1 cps @ 68° F. The pressure drop is specific to the type of bag, the micron rating and flow rate for the filter bag only. It does not include the pressure drop caused by the housing & basket.

Bag Size and Viscosity Correction

For other than #2 size bags, multiply DP from above table by the bag size correction factor below to calculate DP. If viscosity of the liquid is greater than 1 cps (water @ 68° F), multiply the result by the proper viscosity correction factor.
