Aluminum can be used in place of carbon steel, stainless steel or plastic in many applications with superior results.  It is especially effective in water and water based applications such as machine tool coolants and cooling towers, as well as many others. Aluminum speed bar knobs with grade 8 bolts, thread into stainless steel helicoils in the housings top collar to provide a unique cover closure. This closure mechanism is safer and much easier to use than band clamps.

Filter bag sizes are industry standard size #3 (4.31 Dia. x 8'' L.) and size #4 (4.31 Dia. x 14'' L.), and are offered in polyes- ter, polypropylene and nylon materials in micron ratings of 1 to 1000.  Filter bags are ordered separately.

MICRON DUPLEX BAG FILTER SYSTEMS

SIZE DV801 -100 GPM
SIZE DV802 -180 GPM

Duplex systems are offered in aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel . Duplex systems are recommended for those applications where continuous operation is necessary. A single inlet and outlet is fabricated together with four valves and a single lever for flow diversion eliminating the possibility of accidental shut down.

Flow is diverted from one housing to the other by simply turning the lever. While the clean housing is in operation the operator is free to service the dirty side keeping the process flow online.

Ball valves are the standard valve used, butterfly valves and smaller systems are available upon request, please contact us for pricing.
