The Electronic Flocculator™Varnish and Sludge Elimination System |
|
The ProblemParticles smaller than what traditional filters can capture build up on metal components and cause varnishing and sludge build up. These particles often hold a charge. As sludge and varnishes build up, mechanical failure becomes more prevalent. Common mechanical failures are seen in servo valves, bearings, shafts and journals. |

The SolutionThe Electronic Flocculator™ polarizes small particles, speeding the agglomeration of smaller particles into larger particlesThe Electronic Flocculator™ polarizes small particles, speeding the agglomeration of smaller particles into larger particles">. These particles are then captured by our filter elements. High efficiency, multi-layered, micro-glass filter media is used for particulate removal. These filter elements are designed for high dirt holding capacity and filtration efficiencies to ß2.5>1000. The coreless design insures a proper seal. |

How It WorksThe EF works on a basic electrical principal. In short, the EF polarizes small particulate molecules in the oil as dipoles. This process is much like magnets with a north and south poles. The EF polarizes the particles so that they attach to one another like magnets creating a string. Our filters easily capture the particles so that they do not build up as scale, sludge or varnish. In the below drawing, Figure 1 shows random molecules entering the EF. In Figure 2 the particles are polarized and finally in Figure 3 they emerge as dipoles and just like our magnet example. Now there is absolutely no electric charge available for them to grab onto the walls of your piping. Even with the elevated TDS available for them to grab onto the walls of your piping. Even with the elevated TDS molecules join along in the "hand holding" process and are captured by our filter element. |
